Great resource. I was looking for the song during the late night montage.

Thanks, Glad you like it. That song would be “My Indian Red” by the Baby Dodds Trio. Unfortunately only available in CD, no MP3 download available.

Thanks for writing in and if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask

Thank you so much for posting this and for the whole website! I have had this version of “My Indian Red” in my head since I watched this episode and got upset because I couldn’t find who played it

Clarence Frogman Henry was on the closing credits of the last episade of season 1 but I didnt hear him sing. Was he a member of one of the bands or in an earlier episode?

Mel April 29, 2011 at 9:35 am

I remember him in an episode with Art Neville and the band. He was sitting at the poker table if I remember correctly

V. nice job putting this together.
“I’ll Fly Away” by the Treme Brass Band on itunes is the studio version
and it has vocals. Do you know if there is an instrumental version like they played
in season 1 eps 10.

In the last episode of Season 1, Annie helps a man playing guitar/singing with the lyrics of a song he’s writing. She suggests the line ‘iko iko one day’. What was the song?

There were working on the song “This City”, which is on the Treme soundtrack for Season 1 or on Steve Earle’s latest album “I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive
