Hi…. So, glad that I found your website… I think that you missed a song on Episode12 season 2… It is the seen where Davis is at WWOZ and a bounce song is playing … Annie is there and he is trying to get her to dance …Davis cuts off the song and introduces Dj Junior… What is the bounce song?

Mel

says:

Hey Jeff,

I think that is song by Cheeky Black and Rebirth Brass Band called “Pop That Pussy’… But I will go back and look again in the next couple of days…

Thanks for writing in…

Jeff

says:

Hey, Mel….

Yeah, check it out if you can… It is not the Cheeky Black and Rebirth… It’s a funny scene where Davis is trying to get Annie to dance to it by telling her “Turn around and bounce your ass”…. Right before the Thanksgiving Montage, too… Thanks for checkin… 🙂

Damn, this is the coolest site! I can’t thank you enough. I’m in search of the trumpet instrumental Delmond dedicates to his dad while on the radio show. It’s also the same tune HBO uses for the “more on Treme music” promo. I love that trumpet intro and I’m desperate to find out what it is. Thanks so much

Mando

says:

Sorry, just noticed. “Joe Averys Blues”. The couple of versions I found didn’t have the intro. Thanks again. This site rules!

Thanks a lot, your website does help a lot to find songs I’ve been looking for, appreciate it!
